Research and Recommendation Systems Developer from will join us at AIST.

Here is Dmitry’s announcement of his talk:

“The Data Science world is divided into two universes. One of them is dominated by Python and R, sophisticated models and cutting-edge methods.

The other is ruled by huge volumes of data and distributed computations. The models here are simpler, but technologies and algorithms are refined to perfection.

From time to time, bridges of knowledge transfer appear between the two realms, but still both sides acknowledge this as absolutely not enough.

Our new project, OK Data Research Initiative, is planned to be yet another bridge between the two worlds. I give you the idea of the project and its differences from well-known cloud services like Amazon EMR and Azure Data Factory – and explain how you can benefit from it.

It is going to be interesting, you are welcome! :)”
